The work is sculptural, considered, and emotionally grounded.

This is portraiture for women who choose themselves.
There comes a point when postponing yourself no longer makes sense.
Not when life slows down.
Not when you feel more certain.
Not when you have more time.

Each portrait is created in my Johannesburg studio using sculpted lighting, guided direction, and considered composition.
You do not need to know how to pose.
You do not need to perform.
I shape the light.
I refine the posture.
I guide the expression.
You remain present.

At milestone birthdays.

Or simply because something inside them says, It is time.
This is not transformation photography.
