Booking, payment and use of photographs
These terms apply to portrait sessions and commissions booked with Bridget Corke Photography.
Any additional terms relating to a particular session or commission will be confirmed in writing where applicable.
Booking and scheduling
Confirming your booking
A booking is confirmed once the required session fee and collection payment have been received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Dates and times are not held without payment.
Scheduled start and end times
Your session begins at the booked start time and ends at the scheduled finish time.
If you arrive late, the session will still end at the originally agreed time and the full fee will apply.
Cancellations, rescheduling and no-shows
Session fees secure the time reserved for your appointment.
They are non-refundable in the event of a no-show.
This is the one section where I need your actual cancellation/rescheduling rule before adding more. We should not invent one simply to make the T&Cs look complete.
Portraits and image files
Selection and retouching
The final portraits are selected according to the process agreed for your session and are individually retouched before delivery.
Additional portraits may be purchased at the applicable rate.
RAW files
RAW and unedited image files are not supplied.
Black and white versions
Where a black and white version of a selected portrait is requested in addition to the finished colour portrait, the applicable additional fee will apply.
Delivery and storage
Finished digital portraits are delivered electronically unless another method has been agreed.
Once delivered, clients are responsible for downloading and keeping their own backup copies.
I recommend keeping at least two copies in separate locations.
Retrieval of previously delivered files from the studio archive, where still available, may incur a retrieval fee.
Image use
Use by Bridget Corke Photography
Unless otherwise agreed in writing before the session, Bridget Corke Photography may use selected photographs for portfolio display, website and social media use, studio samples, awards, exhibitions and related promotion of the studio's work.
Financial terms
VAT registration
Bridget Corke Photography (Pty) Ltd is VAT registered.
Currency and invoicing
All quotes and invoices are issued in South African Rand (ZAR).
Payment terms are stated on the relevant quote or invoice.
Where payment is required to confirm a booking, the booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.
Copyright
Copyright in photographs created by Bridget Corke Photography remains with Bridget Corke Photography unless otherwise agreed in writing.
