My maternity portraits are created in my Johannesburg studio for women and families who want this chapter photographed with elegance, presence, and care. These are not trend-led images. They are portraits shaped by light, connection, and presence.

Black backgrounds, sculpted light, refined posing, and quiet direction create portraits that feel lasting and composed. The focus is not only the bump, but the woman carrying this moment and the quiet shift taking place within it.

Partners, children, and pets are welcome where they meaningfully belong in the frame. Their presence can bring tenderness, anticipation, playfulness, and the sense of a family becoming something new.
Sessions take place in my private Johannesburg studio and are carefully guided throughout. I help with posing, styling, and pace so that you feel supported rather than self-conscious. Most maternity sessions are best photographed between 30 and 35 weeks, when the bump is beautifully defined and movement is still comfortable.
